Anything by DRAIN STH
- Even breaking glass will sound like a symphony
if Martina, Flavia, Anna, & Maria have a go
at it. If you like, or have ever liked,Metallica
you should be into Drain STH.
Backyard Babies - nag your local radio station for info on
the band. If you get a chance to see the band in
any 500 to 1,500 seat/ capacity club, go - they
could end up in arenas or sheds soon.

SMALL SCREEN/ TV:
|
FOX News Channel
- Fox Report w/ Shepard Smith [could anchor any
primetime newscast, network or otherwise], The
O'Reilly Factor - Bill's quest for truth and
justice is unprecedented; his name probably
should be added to the Constitution and each
Amendment.
Hannity & Colmes - if they're hip enough
to have Mancow on, which they do, even the social
elite that stalk the halls of the trendiest
schools & universities should watch,
especially when they have Ann
"hair-flip" Coulter on!
Any show that features Paula Zahn. Her current
show, The Edge, is a good way to kill an hour
& is "animal friendly."
Could a show with Heather Nauert be in the
works; even if not, she's a most articulate
guest.
Etc.
FOX, in general, does a great job with animal
stories.
MSNBC - Any show
John Gibson hosts or is a part of. He's usually
on around 3 or 4 PM central.
TLC - Trauma:
Life in the ER - the show simply rocks.
Animal Planet Emergency Vets - the show, also
100% + real, tugs at the heart like nothing ever
has.

Just don't have time, but probably will buy American
Beauty when it hits video or DVD. American
Pie & Girl Interrupted look like video
must buys.

"The Legacy of Luna" by Julia
Butterfly Hill - if you buy only one book
your entire life, this should be it - even if you
don't agree with it or the positions she takes.
Julia is the best humanity has to offer. If
scientists ever clone a human, she should be the
first.
Anything by Donald Trump, and
especially the new book. It's a shame he's not
running for President - if he did even 5% of what
he's done in New York, American's streets would
be platinum clad, free of crime, and greener than
they've ever been.

GENERAL
INFOMATION:

The Associated Press - Just about
every, if not every, credible paper &
broadcast outlet subscribes to their service.
When it counts, the people that work at and with
AP deliver - AP is an "Excuse Free"
Zone.

POLITICS:

2000 Presidential Race:
if you're able to vote, please do so - it
does make a difference, even if you don't like
any of the choices; voting always sends a
message. If you're not of voting age or can't
vote, take responsible and reasonable actions to
make sure everyone else does. The next President,
be it George W. Bush or Al Gore [ speaking
probabilistically & in alphabetic order],
deserves to get an endorsement from the majority
of voters.
Wisconsin: Advice
to people running against Jerry Kleczka, Herb
Kohl, & Russ Feingold - don't; they're the
best politics has to offer. if you really want to
run, find another office!
