If this policy changes, we will make every reasonable effort to exclude information gathered prior to a change.

If you are younger than 21, please check with a parent, both your parents, a legal guardian, etc. (if and/or as need be) before participating in the awards or looking into anything mentioned on this site or related to it.
If you are under 13, both parents, the parent with legal authority, or the party (usually a person, organization, government agency / department, etc.) responsible for you MUST grant their/its permission prior to you communicating with us or sending and/or submitting anything to this site or the parties listed on this site, linked to it, and so forth.
All nominations from and/or for those under 13 must be submitted as legal agents for nominee, etc.; ex: George W Parent for [substitute person's name]; on ANY line that asks for a person's name / etc. In other words, if you are under 13 and are nominating someone under 13, make sure their parents and/or legal agent(s) make the nomination with you AND your parents / legal agent(s). If you are over 13, and are nominating someone under 13, make sure their parents and/or legal agent(s) make the nomination with you. If you are under 13 and are nominating someone over 13, make sure your parents / legal agent(s) make the nomination with you.
The language of the last few paragraphs is a first effort to comply with The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, which, as we understand, took effect on 4/21/00. If you want to suggest alternate or "better" language, go ahead, especially if you're a lawyer. Send such suggested language / etc. Attn: Privacy Department.
