![]() Nikita In May of 1999, or so, my owners / caretakers had me spayed; they thought they were doing the right thing, but later grew to regret the procedure was preformed prior to me having a litter of kittens. They knew the procedure, for all practical purposes, couldn’t be undone. One, however, thought it might be possible to have me cloned, basically giving me a younger twin sister, and let the clone sire a litter of kittens, thereby allowing the best parts of me to live on in future generations. He talked to a local vet, received a referral, and was in turn referred to a business that specializes in animal cloning. If the photos turn out well, I make sure he posts as many as he can to the site. We’ll also explain the steps as best as we can & show you how this technology can be used for good & to give people a 2nd chance. The human that adds stuff to my site is a bit behind, so it may be a little while before s/he gets all of the photos up, but I have some exciting news to share: my clone may be the First Commercially Cloned Cat produced by Cyagra, a concern that specializes in animal cloning. My human asked me to put my Paw Print on something so I know they should be starting soon! To protect you, me, and my descendants, I’ve asked my human to set up a Trust, The Feline Trust (NKS / PHLR), a working title. Here are some of the photos we promised to provide. Two small tissue samples were taken, additional cells with my DNA were grown, and placed in cold storage. When we get photos covering embryo prep and other parts of the cloning process, they should be on this page as well. I hope you all will follow my story, keep me company, and become one of my virtual owners, virtual friends, or virtual sponsors. My humans love me, but can’t always be around it’d be nice to have some on-line friends to turn to. I’d also like to be able to pay my own way! People that become virtual friends, virtual owners, and/or virtual sponsors will have first crack at adopting my genetic offspring and thei descendants. We plan to track as many as possible and create a family tree that could go on for thousands and thousands of years. Who knows, maybe it’ll go on i n perPETuity till the end of time. What I especially like about the whole process is everything is being done in an ethically, morally, etc. acceptable fashion; as my buddy & I understand it, a little bit of the host cat’s DNA gets to live on as well. As we learn more about the particulars and logistics, we’ll keep you posted. If you just have to have one of my clones, e-mail us for details at Americananimalawards@hotmail.com To learn more about cloning or getting a DNA paw print for your pet / animal friend, visit PerPETuate.net , a site and collection of talented, ethical, and moral professionals that have more than proven themselves to me & my humans. Even if you have no plans to clone a pet, having your animal’s DNA on file at PerPETuate should be an imperative to all that even remotely care for their pets and animal loved ones. As veterinary medicine continues to advance this could become increasingly important and be worth every cent you pay. Money’s great, but the love returned by a pet is priceless. Give your pet, farm animal, etc. all the options that science has to offer. Material below this point is for test purposes &/or to let you know what we were doing prior to the update. If you want the products listed here, make the nearest purchase above [using the quantity box] or email us and let us know and we’ll try our best to provide it / them.
