The below stations were kind enough to feature me & my story. If animals are a part of your life, please seek out these stations when ever possible, support their web sites, sponsors, causes & the like.

WMIL FM106, Milwaukee, WI & much of South Eastern Wisconsin.

The Moo Crew Morning Show: Karen & Scott, Tony "Radar," Producer

BroadCAsT March 27, 2001, about 8:30AM Central

FM106 is part of the Clear Channel family of companies & more than lives up to the corporate name. It's sound is clear, rich, full-bodied, and never disappoints. We suggest u check out www.clearchannel.com to see if you have a Clear Channel station in your area - it's worth the effort.

If you're into live music, we also suggest u check out SFX shows & venues that may be of interest to u.

FM106's web site is www.FM106.com

KVMI Real Radio - 96.7 FM, Fargo, ND & we bet a lot of ND.

The Ben & Jim Show, Ped Producer - They make talk fun!

We spoke w/ them on March 30, 2001, about 9:15 AM Central

The way they started the interview w/ me was original, kewl, and made my & my human's day. If you're not going to or driving through Fargo, ND, you should cause u r missing out if u don't. Both my human & I are looking for an excuse to head up that way!

I think my human & I had our first caller that day.

KCQQ - FM 106.5, Davenport, IA - Classic Hits

W/ Greg Dwyer and Bill Michaels

Scheduled for April 2, 2001, About 7:30 AM

If the interview is even half as much fun as their web site, www.kcqq106.com it'll be more than worthwhile to get up early to do it! It was & as far as we're concerned Davenport should get whatever it needs & Bill O'Reilly should quit picking on them about that silly flood wall. Maybe w/ all the money he's making, maybe he'll pony up the $$$$'s to pay for it himself!

We recommend u step through each and every part of the site - take a day off from work, etc. if u have to. If u do, %#$@ may just be cake for ya.

WHID – 88.1 FM, Green Bay - Appleton, WI

With Patty Murray, 4-20-01 interview

Pretty much heaven on earth for me & my human. I was able roam throughout the studios while my human answered a bunch of interesting questions.

WHID’s web site is www.wpr.org

Please take the opportunity to visit the site & support this and your local NPR affiliate.

FOX11 - WLUK, Green Bay - Appleton, WI

With Sarah Reinecke, Josh, et al. Special thanks to Jana, Brian [many, many, . . . ], and of course others.

We cannot begin to say enough about this FOX television affiliate. This station & its staff represent what the media is capable on its very best day everyday. From what we saw during our extended visit it’s impossible not to support this station & the FOX network in general.

Emmis Communications is to be congratulated on what has been accomplished here.

While u may or may not be able to get their signal or cable feed u can visit their site anytime at www.wluk.com and we suggest u do. Please tell your friends about the site as well. If u look hard enough, u’ll find the secret of life and happiness there or in the spirit communicated therein.

If u r sick of hype, biased reporting, etc., check the site, station, and FOX out.

My human and I are convinced critics that attack FOX for anything haven’t bothered to visit FOX or a FOX station &/or affiliate. FOX and all parts of the FOX family are there for everyone regardless of which party affiliation they claim. There’s a morality that runs deeper than anything we’ve ever seen before.

If FOX11 can handle me, which they did sooooooooooo graciously, they can handle anyone and anything. The day of my visit, 4-19-01, I decided to adopt this station as my home away from home. Not even my human could get me to leave The Home of The Packers. I was quite the prima donna & gave him another reason to clone me – my fiercely independent streak ! ! ! Not even Whitney or Britney can out due me or provide more entertainment.

While my human watched in awe, I give them footage that may just make their xmas tape – not even 4 full months into the new year!

I also got to see just how cool their 5 O’Clock news was. You can’t see me, but I was part of the set and claimed the weather guy as my surrogate human. My human wanted to get me to my next pending appointment, but given the chance to do my first television interview ever, I wasn’t about to leave this Home Team stronghold. Hey, can u blame me, it’s FOX and FOX rules!

We don’t know if or when any of this will make it on air, but if it does, it’ll happen because a lot, and I do mean lot, of really talented people went that extra 1000 miles for me & my human.

Here are some of the people that make the place kewl:

WMOJ - FM 94.9, Cincinnati, OH – Jammin’ Oldies

W/ Keith & Shelli

Broadcast scheduled Tuesday, May 8, 2001 during the morning show.

Get all the MoJo u’ll ever need at www.mojo949.com , bolt back to a time where u didn’t have to work 80 hour weeks, 3 jobs, etc. This site & station have s-thing for e-one regardless of age.

A great way to get through a dull day, tough project, . . . Play it at work, home, on a trip to the zoo, or while u r driving down the highway w/ a tank full of that $3.00 a gallon gas that seems to be a coming! Probably can’t do anything about the price, but u should be able to kill the pain w/ a dose of MoJo. If nothing else, maybe that screaming chic on their web site may yell at someone for u.

But be nice to Conoco, they’ve got those kewl cat commercials.

Who knows w/ enough kittens & puppies & MoJo for all maybe we’ll even pay $4.00 a gallon w/ a smile.

MINNEAPOLIS STAR TRIBUNE, Minneapolis, MN

Sharon Schmickle, reporter, Darren Hauck, photographer

My human spoke w/ Sharon on May 23rd.

Article featuring me [Nikita], et al., and dealing w/ various aspects of pet &/or animal cloning is expected to be published in the Star Tribune the weekend of May 26/27, 2001 or so.

We’re not certain what will make it in from our part, but the article no matter who is covered is likely to exhaustive & carefully crafted. If u have any interest, questions, think u may want to clone your pet, know it’s right for u, . . . it should be well worth your time to get / read the article & add it to your permanent collection. Sharon spent a lot of time learning my story, asking questions, and trying to understand every facet of why an attempt to clone me is underway. Sharon & her editor had Darren visit my home to get some natural photos of me, 5-24-01. It was great having him over!

If you’re looking for a paper that can be trusted & is willing to do the work for u, u should (1) subscribe & (2) visit www.startribune.com as a part of your daily routine. I don’t care where u are or from, the site will have something for u.

MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, Milwaukee, WI

Marilynn Marchione, reporter w/ the contribution(s) of The Associated Press.

Friday, February 15, 2002, over pages 1A, 8A.

A cute, sharp look at what is currently possible for pets and other animals when nature needs a helping hand and some of the expected and/or current costs involved. Marilynn does a nice job covering the history of the pet / animal cloning effort and acknowledging its pioneers. If you want to look at cloning from a number of different angles, then a read of her much researched article is a must. In addition to consulting the paper, a trip to the Journal Sentinel’s web site, www.OnWisconsin.com , is a must as well.

By mentioning other perspectives, in addition to those put forth by the cited pet caretaker, et al., Marilynn reminds us we should all remember, help, and visit our local animal shelters whenever possible.

If you missed the article, want a hardcopy, etc. we’re pretty certain the Journal Sentinel can hook you up on this and/or past issues - the service is well worth the price. As is the cost of subscribing. Even if you’re not in the Milwaukee area, the Journal Sentinel should have something for you.

The smart, respectful, and cautious approach applied to journalism at paper is quite stellar.

WITI - FOX6, Milwaukee, WI

Kim Murphy, Anchor/Reporter, Mark, DP / Camera

Friday, February 15, 2002, 6 O’clock News, possibly elsewhere.

Meeting Kim was very Kewl and finding good things to say about FOX, it’s affiliates, and the various media / etc. properties they hold or otherwise contribute to doesn’t take much effort. From Milwaukee to Motor and beyond, FOX makes a great neighbor. If one has a story to tell, FOX is a great place to do it. If u do your part, FOX can & likely will do it’s part perfectly. They and their people are w/o question on top of their game.

They’re welcome at our door anytime and should be on at least one TV, computer, etc. in every home, business, government agency, etc.

FOX in many ways is the protector of our Constitution.

In addition to watching, please visit the following FOX web sites: www.FOX6Milwaukee.com , www.FoxNews.com , and, of course, www.Fox.com .

WISN - ABC12, Milwaukee, WI

Tammy Elliott, Anchor/Reporter, Dave, DP/Camera

Friday, February 15, 2002, 6 O’clock News, possibly elsewhere.

The day just got better when Jeff called to say Tammy was able to stop by. Having seen her introduction to the Milwaukee market & knowing she’s a star in the making it was impressive to see her and Dave take such an interest in what cloning means to pets, animals, and the people that care for them. It was particularly nice she mentioned two other cats, Kahlua & Sheba, that played a role in bring me, Nikita, to such a genetic crossroads.

Everyone that contributed to the story added a different and important layer to the story. Each piece fit seamlessly.

More could be said of course, but better for u to watch or visit their web site(s) and see for yourself.

WISN’s web site, www.TheMilwaukeeChannel.com , is a great portal to the city and news originating there and elsewhere.

Special thanks also go to a photographer at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for suggesting the mirror shot set up by Dave & my human - whoever u r, thanks!

U. S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT

Nell Boyce, Reporter, Lauren Stockbower, Photo Editor

John Nienhuis, Photographer, Jim, Assistant

There of course are and/or may be others & we thank these people as well. Additionally, we thank US News & World Report for including us, me & my human, in its cover story: “Designer Pets,” March 11, 2002 issue. US News has just one-upped & taken the whole notion of the “Super Model” to a new level.

If you think you know everything about cloning, Nell’s article, with Katherine Hobson, may just expand that knowledge further. Talking with Nell was great. Her thirst for different takes on cloning, biotech, and cutting-edge work makes the article a fun read as well. Besides checking out www.USNews.com there’s nothing like having a copy of this weekly in hand.

To Lauren Stockbower, a human w/ incredible ability to catch detail & subtlety: thanks for sending such a pro like John. The only thing more impressive than the equipment he brought to the task was his creativity and people / creature skills. People that accomplished usually don’t recognize an animal the way he did. It was pleasure having John & Jim in the house. Jim did a great job keeping me {Nikita} focused. If your publication, company, etc. needs world-class photos, get in touch with John & Jim, www.JohnNienhuis.com .
